神谷麻穂｜Asaho Kamiya

神谷麻穂さんの陶芸作品は、独自の製作プロセスを通して生み出されています。 地面に掘った穴に石膏を流し込み型を作ったり、野菜などの自然物で型をとり、その型に乾燥したボソボソとした土と柔らかな土を混ぜ合わせたものを押し付け成形することで、他にはない豊かな質感が生まれます。

土そのものが持つ表情や造形に、神谷さんの記憶の中にある美しい風景やイメージを重ね合わせ、下絵、上絵、金彩などの加飾によって一つの世界観として融合させています。 華やかさの中に柔らかさと品を感じさせる佇まいは、静かに心に寄り添うような魅力を備えています。

略歴

2012年　金沢美術工芸大学大学院 美術工芸研究科 工芸専攻 修了

Asaho Kamiya

The ceramic works of Asaho Kamiya are created through a distinctive and deeply personal process. She begins by pouring plaster into a hole dug in the ground to form a mold. Into this mold, she presses a mixture of dry, crumbly clay and soft clay, creating surfaces with a rich and unique texture that cannot be achieved through conventional methods.

Onto these forms, Kamiya layers memories of beautiful landscapes and images held within her mind. Through underglaze painting, overglaze decoration, and the use of gold, the tactile qualities of the clay and her inner imagery merge into a single, harmonious expression. The resulting works are graceful and luminous, yet gentle and refined, possessing a quiet presence that resonates with the viewer.

At IZUMO, we primarily present tea-related utensils by Asaho Kamiya, including tea bowls and tea container, selected to accompany moments of tea and contemplation in everyday life.
